Saturday: Day 6- found me in Mesa, Arizona.
Where I managed to go to the Mesa Temple for a session. Then I met up with Amanda M. and we went out to Dinner at Claim Jumpers- the only expensive meal I will probably shell out for the rest of this trip. And then we went back to her house and watched "The Proposal". Then I stayed at her place for the night, she conveniently had a spare room. ^_^
Sunday: Day 7- We then enjoyed the next day- I went running in the Hot Morning Sun around 10:00 or so, fantastic- then we played some board games and I finally got to watch "Leap Year".
Then I headed over to the Tanner household- where I met up with Arielle T. and hanged out with her family for a bit- before we went to her Mom's musical "The Drowsy Chaperone". It was quite hilarious and was just the treat to enjoy- afterwards Arielle, Daniel her lil' Bro, and I enjoyed some swing dancing for an hour or so.
I felt bad for one lass who said "Well hopefully I'll see you here next week..." And I admit I was tempted to be (I'll always have a soft spot for redheads- hahahaha) :P
Day 8- Had me catching a quick sacrament meeting and then heading off to Saint George where I managed to arrive at the Snow's house at the same time they did- thus enjoying some good quality time with my favorite former missionary couple, in which I had some funny 'Grand-parenting" rhetoric laid on me- I quite enjoyed it :D
Day 9- I wandered my way over to the King's house in Saint George to meet up with Chris after I delighted in a terrific breakfast.
Chris and I headed to the mall after taking a scenic route around Saint George just chatting it up like Best friends do- we managed through quite a few topics before we eventually arrived. And as we walked into the mall- I oddly wandered into a wedding ring store. I had no idea why except that I might want to actually start having an idea of what I might care to get and how much it will cost me. I have an idea of what I want to do- a custom design which is already working in my mind and will soon have an illustration to fulfill it. We then wandered through to a few stores- I grabbed a Purple tie, Purple Shoes with matching socks and ordered a shirt all for Chris's wedding in a few weeks. I then made some simple tacos at his casa and took a good ol' siesta. Afterwards back on the road to Sandy, Utah.
I got to Sandy in good time-ate some Din-Din with Tia Mely, and greeting Sarah C. enough that Tom C. and I could head to see "Transformers: Dark side of the Moon"- of which I've been dying to see for a long while now! It was grand and fulfilled an old childhood dream.
Day 10- I woke up late here in Sandy- managed to upload my mass of photos so far from my camera, went for a 3 mile run, and I got my suit to the cleaners, finished moving my stuff into the basement, and I've been enjoying a fairly quiet day of no traveling but just rest and relaxation. And now I'm finishing up some of this crazy blogging- which the next post will be full of Photos of which I've picked out from the 1000. :D
