Day 5

"I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."- Phillipians 4:13

I drove from Corpus to Dallas on Wednesday reaching the Bolster clan in mesquite around 8:00 p.m.- just in time to read bed time stories to Miche and Lulu, tuck them in and kiss them goodnight along with a Mexican lullaby.
Proceeded to enjoy my time with Stephen and Michael along with BryKel- playing Card UNO until late and then watching some Big Bang theory with Stephen.
Woke up 5 hours later to a delicate duo telling me that " it's the morning!".
After some chill time- chorizo and egg breakfast- and a haircut- I was out of the house and heading west.
I got as far as Grapevine- where I stopped by and visited with Kayla- we checked out a lake, some ridiculous houses and an awesome snow cone place where I delighted in a large Piña Colada (top5 fav flavors).

Then I headed off again on to the open road. It was busy most of the way- but got lighter as I went on. I took some time to take some great sunset photos. Later delighted in the dusk background as the clouds covered the horizon, and windmills shined their red lights amidst fog. Gorgeous sight.

And as I rolled late into New Mexico I enjoyed a small lightning show on the south.

I admit- talking to people whilst on the road becomes quite enjoyable for passing the time. Sis. Abeyta ( a temple square missionary who is working with me on referrals) and Lehla made the time just fly by with delightful conversation.

I got into Albuquerque around 12:30 a.m. and now I'm staying at Michelle's place for the night.
I love having friends everywhere.
